Chapter Philanthropy and Service

The Gamma Eta chapter is deeply committed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We host several events during the year to raise money for St. Jude, including our annual Delta Dodgeball tournament and our pancake breakfast, Delta House of Pancakes. We also participate in the Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign, where we write letters to friends and family telling them about our commitment to St. Jude and asking for donations.

While the sisters of Gamma Eta passionately devote themselves to raising money for St. Jude, they also find ways to get involved with other philanthropic pursuits on and off campus. Our chapter has partnered with St. Mary’s, a local hospital just a few minutes from our campus. Each month, our sisters organize a visit to the children’s floor to deliver gift baskets and visit with the patients.

Our sisters also enjoy giving back to the campus community, and they spend time participating in other Greek organizations philanthropic events such as Kappa Kourtside, Pi Phi’s Lip Sync for Literacy, and Phi Gam Car Slam. We also take part in the annual Relay for Life event by fundraising and forming a Tri Delta team to celebrate and honor those who have battled cancer, and fight back against the disease.
