Delta Delta Delta

Gamma Eta Chapter, founded in 1986

At the University of Richmond, Tri Delta consists of women of amazing class, character, intellect, beauty, kindness, and sophistication, all of whom come together to form a sisterhood of incredible strength and depth. There is no stereotypical UR Tri Delta, and we pride ourselves on our diversity of personality traits, interests, activities, and backgrounds. Delta Delta Delta is rich in tradition and symbolism passed down from our founders at Boston University. Tri Delta was the first sorority established at the University of Richmond, and is recognized as one of the largest and strongest collegiate sororities nationwide.

Gamma Eta is very fortunate to have been chosen as the recipient of the Three Star Award at both the 2014 and 2016 Tri Delta National Conventions. We are the first chapter in the nation to receive this award twice. The convention is held every 2 years, and all chapter honors are awarded as such. This award is the highest honor a collegiate chapter can receive, given to the chapter who has demonstrated superior and continued excellence in programming, campus participation, and the strength of sisterhood. We are so excited to have been honored in this way, and we are SO proud of our Gamma Eta sisters - collegiate and alumnae - who have contributed to our great success. Delta Love and ALL of Ours!
